Visa & LCC

For all those travelling using LCC (AirAsia), if you plan to take AirAsia as your connecting flight & if you don't have a visa for that particular country, DON'T TAKE IT!!!!! Yes, i did it, and it was not worth it!!! Gone ,wasted one RETURN ticket Bangkok-KL & KL-BKK as Zoyli needed Visa to enter thailand but not for Malaysia,i booked his ticket thinking it would be fine & he will be able to check in as there was only one terminal.Apparently NOT!! So when he arrived at bangkok from budapest & was supposed to get his connecting flight to KL, they refused to let him check in,as they didnt have a transit counter in the transit area, & he had to go out thru immigration which he cant as he didn't have a visa.. Poor guy tried all ways to get that flgiht,incl telling the security he will pay him & all he had to do was follow him out to immigration..this funny boy, calls me & tells me bout his situation,& i tried all means to get him to get that flight but in the end he had no choice but to take another airlines & he took MAS (amidst all that, when he called he was like "Hey have you watched Terminal2, i was so blur i was like No,he then laughed & said he was acting in it" ahh hilarious )but YEa at least he made it to KL!! 1problem solved....

Problem 2...Of coz occured during departure.. We thought ok maybe this time we can ask the airasia people to help make arrangements check-in the luggage direct so he doesnt have to go out of the terminal but NAHHH didn't work!! called KLIA & ask which flight flew out to BKK the earliest-they said MAS but had to go to level3 to purchase ticket & wait on standby,so rushed to KLIA, went to MAS ticketing office, as there was a flight at 20:15 (last flight) & we were already nearby, we were at the counter around 19:15 but by the time we took our number,ahh our luck the guy said we couldnt get a ticket!! so he asked to try Lufthansa go up level4,tried to find the airline office one maze it was, got there,notice said "Mon-Sat after 6pm @ Check in counter Level 5" Arghhhh, that flight was at 21:20 & time was just ticking so ran to Level5 to Lufthansa ticket counter & tried to get a ticket.......
THANK GOD, they had a ticket but it cost rm1300 (at least better than if he missed the flight from bangkok & couldn't get to budapest & waste a whole ticket there)

Lesson to be learnt: Ask your travel agent to do all arrangements of flight or just get a Visa...
*the passenger involved in this case has reached bangkok safely & is on his way back home........... no one was harm during this experiment haha* except those involved & those that gain were the stupid airline company =D
